GEOTEXTILES

DUX woven and non-woven geotextiles are manufactured by leading local manufacturers of geotextiles.  DUX woven geotextiles are ideal for stabilizing soft roadway subgrade material. DUX W155 is an extremely-robust woven geotextile and is a standard roading geotextile, proven across Australia in all conditions, from forest roads to Vicroads highway projects. DUX non-woven geotextiles are used in a range of applications from sub-soil drainage to use as a filter layer beneath heavy marine rock rip-rap. All manufacturers are accredited to ISO 9001.

GEOGRIDS

Huesker are a leading manufacturer of high performance geogrids, which are used in a range of soil reinforcement applications. DRAINAGE PRODUCTS

UNDERGROUND WATER TANKS

The Rainbox Underground Rainwater Tank system comprises plastic modular boxes wrapped in a heavy-duty CANAL waterproofing liner. This system is easy enough to DIY or have installed by one of our recommended experienced installers. The Rainbox system is strong enough to be installed under driveways and even under house slabs. EROSION CONTROL

SGS offers a full range of erosion control products including SiltStop silt fence, Silt Sausages, Fortrac 3D erosion control mat and Soil Saver jute mesh.

LINING PRODUCTS

Damtuff LLDPE 0.4mm thick liner is used for dam lining and also for wrapping the Rainsmart underground water tank system. CANAL³ is a new geocomposite lining product from Huesker Inc. It comprises a 0.5mm thick EVA liner bonded top and bottom to geotextile layers to form a single “carpet-like” liner. CANAL³ has extremely high puncture resistance and is ideal for a range of applications including canal lining, dam and waste pond lining, and also for wrapping the Rainsmart tank system.

PAVING PRODUCTS

Reflective cracking through new asphalt overlays on roadways is a major problem. SGS offers a complete range of Geosynthetics for reflective crack control including B14 polyester paving fabric, Roadtape self-adhesive bitumen tape and Hatelit C asphalt reinforcement grid.
